FIRST LOOK: Disney on Broadway at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts
Our MickeyBloggers have been spending the day at EPCOT for the second full-day of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts which runs through February 20th. One of the highlights of the festival each year is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series.
This celebration of the performing arts takes place three times nightly during the festival of the arts. Performance times are 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm and 8:00 pm.
The show features performers that have featured in Disney’s incredible Broadway productions and is held at the American Gardens Theatre on a first-come, first-served basis.
During this evenings performance we managed to catch brother and sister duo Arielle and Adam Jacobs!
Arielle is best known for her turn as Princess Jasmine in Aladdin on Broadway.
She was in the Broadway production from 2018 – 2020.
Arielle’s Brother Adam also have an impressive Broadway career with star turns in both The Lion King and Aladdin.
Adam played Simba on Broadway in 2011-2012.
Adam would then go on to the starring role in Aladdin from 2014-2017.
Brother and Sister gave a fantastic performance that our MickeyBlogger managed to capture on film.
Here they are taking us through a fabulous rendition of “A Million Miles Away” from Aladdin.
And here is “Circle of Life” from The Lion King.
We definitely think the Disney on Broadway Concert Series is not-to-be-missed.
