Genie+ Sells Out Before 1PM at Disneyland for Second Day in a Row!
Earlier, MickeyBlog reported that Genie+ had reportedly sold out yesterday, for the first time in the U.S. Today, Genie+ sells out for the second day in a row, and before 1PM!

In my last article, I shared about the previous FastPass system and how it compares to Genie+. Last year, post-pandemic, Disney rolled out the new system.
While FastPass was free, Genie+ comes with an added cost. Purchasing the add-on allows Guests to plan ahead, scheduling coveted rides on the app.
After scanning in, you can make a selection for another attraction. The process is fully digital and can be accessed on the app.
Recently, I shared my own personal experience using the service for the first time at Disneyland Resort. On a trip this Christmas, my family paid $25 per person, per day, in an effort to make the most of our limited time at the Parks.
While it would be nice if the service was free, we found it to be incredibly convenient. We were able to ride all of our top attractions, effortlessly, using the app.
Originally, I was worried that the new process would force me to be on my phone the whole day. But, that wasn’t the case at all.
It only took a minute to pick out the attractions we desired, and most return times were offered within a reasonable amount of time. Since Disney rolled out the service, there have been a lot of complaints among Guests, mostly related to its added cost.
In addition, some have not been able to visit as many attractions as they expected. Despite its criticism, Genie+ seems to be doing very well for itself.

Earlier, Disney Journalist Scott Gustin shared that yesterday, Genie+ sold out. Today, the service proves its popularity by selling out again for the second day in a row, and before 1PM!

It looks like both The Walt Disney Company and fans are discovering the new peak season for Disneyland’s Genie+ service. All that to say, you probably want to avoid a visit to DIsneyland Resort between Christmas and New Years!
