Throwback Shrink Art Gift Arrives, Celebrating 2023 and the Main Mouse
In all of the ways that the 1980s and 1990s have returned to fasion and entertainment, today’s find at the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom definitely caught our eye. In honor of 2023’s arrival, a new shrink art set hit the shelves alongside next year’s merchandise.
Featuring four shrink art sheets, the Walt Disney Company’s main mouse takes center stage on all of the throwback designs. The set also includes 14 pencils to help bring the drawings to life pre-bake.
The festive 2023 logo appears in its retro colorations that use an off-white for the “20” and a golden yellow for the “23.” Not only did an abundance of 2023 merchandise hit the shelves at Walt Disney World this week, but a wealth of 100th anniversary merchandise also dropped at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort as well as on shopDisney.
Of course, the kit gives guests a sneak peak at the four included designs on the back of the packaging. It also provides step-by-step instructions on how to complete the shrink art process. These can either be baked in the oven or be processed using a hair dryer.
For $19.99, the shrink art kit makes an affordable choice of souvenir (and an easy option to tuck into a suitcase).
