Spider-Man Spins Web, Leaps around New Christmas Mug
Our friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man leaped onto a new Christmas-themed mug this week. We spotted the “Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse” mug at World of Disney just yesterday.
Shaped like the evergreen trees that define the December holiday season, the mug uses Spider-Man’s deep red shade not only in his details but also in the Christmas lights than wrap the mug as well as on the cup’s handle.
The mug features three Spider-Verse characters, including the movie’s version of Peter Parker. Complete with yellow scarf, one the more modern versions of our favorite web-slinger leaps off the design.
On the other side of the mug, Spider-Gwen aka Ghost Spider, ninja kicks her way past the candy canes and snowflakes that whimsically adorn the Christmas tree.
Adding to the drama of the cup, the star of Sony’s 2018 “Into the Spider-Verse” Miles Morales also thwips to save the day on top of the mug. The faces of the three heroes also characterize the details of the ornaments that float throughout the mug.
The interior of the cup carries through the same evergreen shade of the exterior. We especially like the 3-D effect of the tree’s details that give the mug definition.
The mug retails for $19.99. We spotted it as we entered World of Disney, the penultimate retail location in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.
