New Disney Springs Marvel Pop-Up Shop Explodes with Unique Merch
Avengers fans, assemble! The new Marvel-themed pop-up shop at Disney Springs always wows us with its memorabilia.
Now, nestled inside Marketplace Co-Op, the location released an enormous collection of house and kitchenwares just in time for the holiday shopping season.
Of all of the decorative details, a new light box boldly brings the comic giant’s logo to the forefront of any wallscape. This 17″ box retails for $99.99 and continues to prove to be a popular item this holiday season.
For the desk, this year’s merchandise throws back to the Infinity Saga Era, featuring logos of the ten original Avengers.
For those looking to add a bit of superhero strength to their deskscape, the new line includes a decorative plaque, desk organizer, and a bold, over-sized pen.
The red, white and blue shades that tend to define a number of the Phase 1 Avengers, especially Iron Man and Captain America, dominate much of the deskware.
The $14.99 pen definitely makes for a great stocking stuffer this year and utilizes many Avenger logos in a subtle grey throughout the body of the writing utensil. The subtleties offset the bold red Marvel logo.
Tie off the new desk look with a new organizer that uses a modern design offering space for a sticky note pad and a stellar phone holder. The organizer retails for $24.99.
Also $24.99, a shiny silver pen joins the desktop additions. The holder uses a design clearly inspired by Stark Industries sleek asthetic.
Kitchenwares Burst with Avengers’ Details
Looking for the right gift for the Marvel fan in the family who also likes to bake? The wealth of cookware options spotted yesterday in the new pop-up may be the right choice.
At $24.99, we especially liked the nested set of four measuring cups. The classic Marvel Comics logo pops in red while the same ten logos scatter in grey across the bright white background of the cups.
A mixing bowl set also uses the same logo-based design. Like the measuring cups, the interior of each bowl uses one of the featured colors to shade the inside of the vessel.
In the shop, the set of nesting bowls retails for $34.99.
For those Marvel fans with a sweet tooth, the new line also includes a cookie jar. It’s unique hexagon shape reminds of the shape of Quantum Core souvenir sipper spotted recently on the Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, at the Worlds of Marvel dining experience.
Rounding out the line, a $19.99 pot holder and a oven mitt set both use a blue border as a defining feature of their design.
The silicon interior of the oven mitt also plays a big role in the backing of the pot holder making these items highly functional in the kitchen.
Continuing with the “sets” theme in this kitchenware collection, the new Avengers line introduced a pair of silicon cooking utensils as well.
The lightweight whisk and spatula duo also retail for $19.99. The same muted blue shade dominates these options as well as the prominent red Marvel Comics logo.
If one must put down coasters (for any reason), this new Marvel collection also offers a way to tie in a variety of Marvel superheroes to that practice as well.
The $24.99 set of six coasters features the logos of six Avengers: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, and Black Panther.
Marketplace Co-Op recently introduced both this Marvel shop, replacing WonderGround Gallery, earlier this fall. It is located just across the walkway from World of Disney at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World.
