Holiday Beverages, Cups Debut at Starbucks Today
Over the past three days, Walt Disney World burst with the excitement of the holiday season. The Magic Kingdom even began playing holiday tunes yesterday and debuted its incredible Christmas Tree, and today, Starbucks joined this year’s early festivities.
Always a popular choice for snacks and beverages in the Disney parks and beyond, Starbucks released four new cups today, decked in the reds, greens and whites that define the Christmas season.
Geometric designs harken ideas of snowflakes in a bold red while a more muted green shade brings modern Christmas tree shapes to the forefront of one design.
The most clever feature on one of the designs certainly proves to be the gift tag that spans across the top of one side of the vessel.
Starbucks Designs Burst with Seasonal Symbols
One of the new seasonal cups uses that same almost seafoam green shade as its base while the other two options use the vibrant red as their background shade.
With a mid-century modern twist, this year’s four designs definitely ring in the holidays and add just the right touch of whimsical cheer. Many celebrate popular symbols of the holidays too, including ribbons and stars.
Today, Starbucks also debuted a new line of sweets and beverages that include traditional favorites as well as a few new options. Among the returning traditions, guests can enjoy a Caramel Brulee Latte, Toasted White Choclate Mocha, or (my personal favorite) a Peppermint Mocha.
“We are really focused on creating a joyful experience throughout the entire Starbucks experience – whether a customer is visiting at our drive-thru or in our cafe,” said Gary Jacobson in a release. Jacobson served as Starbucks Creative Director for this year’s holiday designs.
