Best In Dough: Disney’s Top 5 Places To Get a Pizza
For those looking for a tasty savory treat at Disney, nothing beats a slice of pizza! But knowing where to go to get the best pizza at the resort and parks isn’t always the easiest of tasks. But Disney, with a little inspiration from new Hulu show Best in Dough is coming to the rescue.
They’ve compiled a list of the best places to grab a slice a Disney and we wholeheartedly agree. Check out the top five pizza spots and give them a try during your next Disney visit.
1. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria (EPCOT)
Let’s start with what I think is the best spot to grab a slice of pizza at EPCOT (and maybe all of Walt Disney World) – Via Napoli located in the Italy Pavilion. You’ll be transported to Italy the minute you step through the doors with Venetian architecture and Sicilian artwork. The pizzas here are crafted with San Marzano tomatoes and real Caputo flour imported directly from Southern Italy.
I’m a huge fan of the Quatro Formaggi Pizza made with mozzarella, parmesan, fontina and provolone! – YUM! Via Napoli i s a table service eatery and advanced reservations are recommended.
2. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
One of my favorite spots to relax and unwind at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italian. This restaurant has been dubbed “where Italy meets California in the heart of the Backlot.” The restaurant gives bit Little Italy vibes with string lights and checkered curtains.
A great menu item is the Margherita Flatbread made with mozzarella, house-made marinara sauce, fresh basil and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. This is also a table service eatery and it is recommended you make your reservations in advance!
3. Pizzafari (Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park)
Located on Discovery Island, just before you head into the Africa section of the park, Pizzafari serves up freshly baked personal pizzas with different toppings to chose from. Best of all, this is a quick-serve spot meaning no reservations are required.
4. Alien Pizza Planet (Disneyland Park)
Though people are divided as to whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza, you can make up your own mind at Alien Pizza Planet in Disneyland!
5. Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta (Disney California Adventure park)
In the hear to Disney California Adventure Park, Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta offers lots of slices to choose from making it super handy when taking a break for the awesome attractions.
I love the Carnitas pizza made with pork carnitas, chorizo, refried beans, mozzarella, citrus cabbage slaw and salsa verde!
