The Disney Legend-Penned “Walt’s Apprentice” Memoir Promises Closer Look Into Walt’s Life

In a mont’s time, the brand new memoir titled “Walt’s Apprentice” penned by Disney Legend Dick Nunis will officially be available for purchase. Today at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, a video message from Dick Nunis himself offered some insight on the forthcoming book!

In the video, Nunis recalls wondering what Walt Disney saw in him- a then 25-year-old kid. Through the message, Nunis comes to the realization that Walt quickly saw dedication, passion, and many other leadership qualities in the young Nunis.

Through Nunis’ eyes, we will learn about the Walt that took a young Dick Nunis under his wing as an unofficial apprentice in the forthcoming memoir.

We expect to hear new stories and details about Walt when he had just opened his dream Theme Park, who wanted nothing more than his company to both thrive and create lasting memories for his guests. “Walt’s Apprentice” goes on sale in October 2022.
