The Disneyland App’s new Cast Member Compliment Feature is LIVE!
Disneyland has a brand new way to pay-it-forward. So often we are quick to complain when some aspect of our Disney getaway doesn’t go right. But what happens when a cast member goes out of our way to make our stay extra magical? That’s where the new Cast Member Compliment feature on the Disneyland app comes in!
Starting today! The Disneyland app offers a convenient, quick and digital way for Disneyland Resort guests to show their thanks to cast members that really made your visit filled with pixie dust!
To access the new Cast Compliments feature, simply search “cast compliment” in the Disneyland app. You can use the app to choose a positive sentiment from the drop-down menu. You’ll also have a chance to enter the cast member’s first name and hometown (make sure to take note of the cast member’s name tag) along with the date of the interaction. The recognized cast member will be notified that you’ve left them a compliment and so will their supervisor!
Didn’t catch the name of a cast member who made your day? Don’t worry! Simply let Disney know the location or area where you’re magical moment happened.
For those on the East Coast, the Walt Disney World Cast Member Compliment option was launched as part of the World’s Most Magical Celebration in October 2021. Since launching last year, the feature has already garnered over 360,000 on the My Disney Experience app!
So next time you’re at Disneyland (or Walt Disney World) take some time to thank a cast member who helped you create magical memories!
