We’re All About the Waffles at the Belgium Booth for the 2022 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
If you’re in the mood for a tasty European treat at the 2022 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, we know the place for you.
Sat between the France and Morocco pavilions is the Belgium marketplace booth, an especially popular spot for those amongst us who can’t resist a sweet waffle treat next to the World Showcase lagoon!
The Belgium booth is a staple at the Food & Wine Festival, and definitely a good one to visit whilst you’re adventuring from stall to stall. This year, the booth is serving up one main course, two sweet treats, and five alcoholic beverages to sample… so let’s go take a closer look!
Starting with the drinks, the Belgium booth is offering a St. Bernardus Witbier, a Belgian Abbey Ale, and a Delirium Red Fruit Ale. There’s a Beer Flight for those of you looking to treat your taste buds to a selection, and also a fun Chilled Coffee, featuring Godiva chocolate liqueur.
For the savory option, the Belgium stall is offering a Beer-Braised Beef, served with a fascinating-sounding smoked gouda mashed potatoes.
Then, we come to the menu offerings that really put Belgium on the festival map – the waffles! Two variations of Belgian Waffle are on the menu here – the first served with a warm chocolate ganache, and the second with berry compote and whipped cream. Sweet or tangy – which would you go for?
Since the opening of Connections Cafe & Eatery earlier this year, Epcot is becoming quite the hotspot for tasty waffles. If we find any more to try we’ll let you know; but for now, enjoy the tasty servings over at the Belgium booth for the 2022 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
