Suspect In 2019 Disney World Bomb Threat Arrested in New York State
According to reports out of New York, a fugitive wanted for a Walt Disney World bomb threat was arrested. On May 16, 2022, US Customs and Border Protection offers at the Ogdensburg Port of Entry at the Canadian Border arrested 22 year-old Matthew Carney on an outstanding warrant out of Florida.

Carney was traveling along when he was apprehended. During an inspection, Border Patrol discovered that the had an active warrant due to a bomb threat that Carney issued to staff at Walt Disney World back in 2019. This was when Carney was employed as a Cast Member.
We know that the original warrant comes from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. After being detained at the boarder, Carney was turned over to the Ogdensburg Police Department and is in the custody of the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
