PHOTOS: Heroic Cast Members Reunite Lost Baby Ducks with Mom in Epcot!
Disney World is a very busy place, and it can be easy to lose your party in a sea of people. Especially when you’re less than 4″ tall!
A mother of 9 ducklings discovered just how hard it can be to navigate crowds on World Showcase Promenade last evening, as she was temporarily separated from 8 of her 9 ducklings.
8 of her ducklings got separated from their mother and one of their siblings when 2 Cast Members came to the rescue of the clearly distressed family. It was no easy feat reuniting the lost ducklings though! Despite both Cast and guests attempting to direct the tiny ducklings, the babies weren’t sure exactly where to go…until they heard their mom calling to them.
At one tense moment, the ducklings wandered into the drain pipe of one of the Flower and Garden Festival flower displays!

They seemed to be cozy, but as soon as they heard their mother’s call, they were once again on the move to find her. The family finally reunited in the waterway in front of the Odyssey building, making for the most adorable Disney family reunion ever!
Shout out to those awesome Cast Members who helped spearhead the reunion- and kept the ducklings safe while doing so! Thanks to the hard work, the duck family was reunited well in time to enjoy Harmonious together over World Showcase Lagoon.
