The Disney Princess Cavalcade at the Magic Kingdom Receives Touches of Holiday Magic
As we await for the first Disney Very Merriest After Hours to kick off tonight in the Magic Kingdom we received an early treat of holiday magic when we saw the Disney Princess cavalcade go by! The float all the Disney Princesses ride on during the cavalcade was all decorated for the 2021 holiday season!
As you can see, the float features a “Happy Holidays” banner in the front. And, all throughout the float, you will see white garland trimmed with colorful glass ornaments.
There’s Mulan passing by to say, “Hi!”
And, there is the always gorgeous Princess Elana waving at all of her adoring fans.
The Fairy Godmother is casting positive spells out for everyone to have a magical 2021 holiday season!
Ariel looks like she is getting ready for the holidays!
And, in the gazebo, there’s Princess Tiana, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Belle.
When Walt Disney World reopened after the extended COVID shutdown last Summer, parades and character meet and greets were replaced with these Character Cavalcades. Originally, these would “pop up” at any time but now they run on a schedule that is posted in the My Disney Experience app so you always know about when they are going to come by.
BUT! If you are anxious to see a parade again, you are in luck! With the start of Disney Very Merriest After Hours tonight, parades are back at the Magic Kingdom! Exclusive for these separately-ticketed events is the return of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! (Tickets are still available for select nights!)
While the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is returning just for the After Hours event at this time, Guests will be able to see the Disney Princess cavalcade all decorated for the holidays during the Magic Kingdom’s normal park hours!
