As you may have heard, Disney character meet-and-greets return to normal later this month. At times, Guests occasionally meet Scrooge McDuck, so here are some tips for a great interaction if you’re lucky enough to run into him.
So, Disney named Scrooge McDuck after Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol. Also, as a fun fact, Scrooge McDuck and Money was one of the last movies Walt Disney (himself) produced.
Where Can You Find Scrooge?
In case you wonder where you can find Scrooge McDuck, he can typically be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Guests saw him floating around on Donald’s Dino-Bash Festival Flotilla during the pandemic.
During normal operations, Scrooge McDuck holds a meet-and-greet in Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand U.S.A. He is ready to hunt for money and treasures with a money bin, and he is always willing to solve a mystery or rewrite history.
A Great Interaction
Scrooge McDuck dons his spectacles and top hat, as well. In fact, I encourage you to sing the theme song from DuckTales to him, be sure to include the “Woo-hoo.”
Of course, Scrooge McDuck willingly signs your autograph book, but take it a step further for a more memorable experience. For example, give him a dollar bill, treasure map, or piggy bank to sign.
