FIRST LOOK: The Honey Bee-stro Outdoor Kitchen at Flower and Garden Fest
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog, you’ll know that we spent most of yesterday checking out all the incredible Outdoor Kitchens at this year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. We’ll we’re back thanks to our MickeyBlogger Lisa Vondale who has just stopped by one of our favorite places – The Honey Bee-stro for some sweet treats and a Spike the Bee Sipper!
The Honey Bee-stro is sponsored by the National Honey Board and the menu is nothing short of mouth-watering!
First up on the menu is the Tupelo Honey and Sweet Corn Spoonbread. This beauty comes with jalapenos, bacon, and house-made whipped honey butter! It retails for $5.00.
Now, we didn’t order the spoonbread this go around but you can see the chefs lovingly preparing this dish in the image above and it looks AMAZING!
Another item we didn’t get to try was the Lavender Honey Mustard-marinated Chicken Flatbread – It comes with whipped honey ricotta cheese, marinated vegetables and goats cheese. It costs $6.00 and gives us a good excuse to come back.
We did however get to sample the Local Wildflower Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake!
This beauty comes with Orange Blossom Honey Whipped Cream.
There’s also whipped honey, crystalized honey, honeycomb, dehydrated honey and fennel pollen meringue kisses.
The cheesecake retails for $5.00
As you can see from these images, we paired ours with the Honey- Peach Freeze.
It comes in an adorable Spike the Bee Souvenir Sipper!
You can get the drink and the sipper for $15.00.
There is also a boozy version for $12.00 with vodka and without the sipper!
This has to be one of our favorite outdoor kitchens at this year’s fest so definitely stop by during your EPCOT visit.
Oh, and one last thing. They also sell wine by the bottle here. You can pick up the Florida Orange Grove Winery’s Orange Blossom Honey Wine for $26.00.
This would make the perfect souvenir to bring home with you!
