Christmas Fantasy Parade Dining Package
A Christmas Fantasy Parade continues Disneyland’s tradition of beautiful and extravagant parades. The current holiday parade runs twice daily in Disneyland. Currently, The Plaza Inn offers visitors a wonderful chance to reserve a seat to this spectacular experience the Christmas Fantasy Parade Dining Package
Plaza Inn offers dining package options throughout the year. This holiday season they are offering the Christmas parade and a New Year’s Eve Fireworks dining package.
The parade package is priced at $45 per adult and $25 for children 3-9. The meal includes a drink, entree, and dessert.
Disney Vacation Club Members and Magic Key Holders can also use their discounts. As Disney Vacation Club members, we received 10% off.
The Plaza Inn continues to operate as a quick service restaurant. Guests without the package will dine at the Plaza Inn as normal. Guests of the package have a separate line and pickup window. Cast members will direct you to the right place.
You are given the option of roasted New York Strip loin or the Plaza Inn’s famous fried chicken. The menu advertises the New York strip, but we were told we could pick any entree served at the Plaza. Our family ordered both options and preferred the famous fried chicken.
The entree is served with sides and dessert. The strip included house made macaroni and cheese and vegetables. The chicken included a biscuit, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Children choose the pasta or the roasted New York strip. The dessert was chocolate bread pudding.
You will receive a keepsake lanyard and a ticket to access the private viewing area. We ate lunch at 1 pm and were given a ticket for the 4:30 parade. Guests may arrive at the private viewing area starting at 4 pm.
The private viewing area is located directly across from the Disneyland Main Street train station. You check in at the flagpole. The train station provides a beautiful backdrop for the parade.
The viewing area is roped off and reserved for ticketed guests. The reserved area was not crowded, and we were able to secure a spot sitting on the curb. It was wonderful to be able to sit and enjoy the parade.
I was thoroughly impressed by the Christmas Fantasy Parade. It was much lengthier than the recent parade we watched at Walt Disney World’s Very Merriest After-Hours event. The parade had multiple floats and performers.
The parade includes Christmas characters such as reindeer, snowman, toy soldiers, and Santa.
Favorite Disney Characters also made an appearance such as the Evil Stepmother and Ugly stepsisters, Anna and Elsa, Princesses, Princes, Toy Story Characters, and my favorite Belle and Beast.
The parade had many theatrical performances making it a unique experience. These moments included the roller-skating Snowflakes, marching toy soldiers, and dancing snowmen.
The highlight of the Plaza Dining Package was definitely the parade. It was comforting to know that we already had a viewing spot for the parade in advance.
We have attended dessert parties in the past at Walt Disney World and felt the viewing areas could be crowded at times. This was not the case at this event. We did not feel crowded, and we had a perfect view. If you have it in your budget, I highly recommend the Christmas Fantasy Parade Dining Package.
