As you can see from the tweet above there are four different pieces currently on display on the West Side of Disney Springs so see how many you can find during your holiday visit! In addition each of them will have a unique QR code where you can find out more about the Colombian artists that created these incredible works of art.
Let’s take a closer look at each:
We love the wildlife and tropical blooms of this stunning mural by Sebas Pakui!
These Toucan’s are a dream in this artwork celebrating the flora, fauna and wildlife in Colombia. It is by Catalina Estrada.
The bright graphics in the piece by Jhonny Nunez above feature Mirabel, the main protagonist in the film!
The symmetrical patterns in this piece of Ledania are mystical and delightful!
For those unfamiliar, Encanto will take moviegoers into the Casa Madrigal a magical home for a magical family. The film tells the tale of the Madrigals who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a magical house in a charmed place known as ‘Encanto.’
This NEW Disney original features the vocal talents of Stephanie Beatriz as Mirabel (an ordinary 15 year-old who is struggling to find her place in her family). Beatriz describes that character as someone who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in!
The film will feature original music from Lin-Manuel Miranda and is directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush (Zootopia) for Walt Disney Animation Studios. Encanto is produced by Clark Spence (Ralph Breaks the Internet) and Yvett Merino Flores (Moana.) in addition to directing, Jared Bush also wrote the screenplay with Charise Castro-Smith.
