Disney Melee Mania Coming to Apple Arcade
We’ve got some exciting news for all you Disney-loving Apple users. Apple announced today that Disney Melee Mania from Mighty Bear Games will be joining over 200 titles of the company’s popular gaming subscription service Apple Arcade starting next month.
In Melee Mania, players will join forces in “rumble-ready” teams that feature some of your favorite Disney ad Pixar friends. Players will duke it out in a virtual arena.
There’s a whole host of characters that can get in on the fun including Wreck-It Ralph, Elsa, and Mickey Mouse to Frozone, Moana, and Buzz Lightyear. Each player will pick your holographic hero and battle it out in 3 vs.3 matches as you work your way up to becoming the ultimate Disney champion.
Players are dropped into a virtual battleground where you’ll chose from 12 champions (and game developer Mighty Bear promises that more will be added regularly.) Each champion has their own set of iconic moves and unlockable cosmetics.
Gamers will compete in five minute matches where your goal is to score the most points possible or defeat as many opposing teams as you can in order to achieve victory. You’re sure to love these fast-paced multi-player battles that will put your own unique abilities to the test.
For those interested in experiencing Melee Mania for yourself you can purchase Apple Arcade for $4.99 per month with a one month free trial. Customers who get a new iPhone, 1Pad, iPod Touch, Mac or Apple TV will get three months of Apple Arcade for Free.
