More Fireworks Testing at Magic Kingdom Tonight

Disney placed a disclaimer on their Facebook page this evening. Apparently, more fireworks testing will be at the Magic Kingdom tonight, and we have pretty good speculation for the reason.

Disney World Community Update

First, let’s take a look at the statement provided by Disney. It forewarns the surrounding community about late-night disturbances.

According to the statement, the surrounding community may hear fireworks from the Magic Kingdom later than normal. In fact, fireworks may blast from 11:30 pm to 1:00 am beginning tonight, November 13, 2021.

Of course, they will keep the noise to a minimum in order to disturb neighbors as little as possible. Although this is a potential inconvenience if you live near the magic.

What is the Cause for the Disturbance?

We at MickeyBlog suspect the cause for the fireworks disturbance, even though we have no confirmation from Disney. However, we believe that filming the upcoming holiday special is a probable cause.

So, why do we have this inclination? Well, MickeyBlogger Greg watched and videoed a live rehearsal of Disney’s holiday special this morning.

Yes, it was a very exciting morning! MickeyBlog saw Julianne Hough and watched performances by Darren Criss and Kristen Chenoweth.

Dancers, lights, a band, and confetti donned the newly erected stage in front of Cinderella Castle. The performers did a few takes and practiced their timing and places.

So, if our feelings are correct regarding more fireworks testing, then Disney prepares for the anticipated holiday season in full force. The most wonderful time of the year is at our doorstep!
