New 50th Backpack Makes Festive Carry-All
The past weeks brought an epic amount of new merchandise to the Walt Disney World Resort in honor of its 50th anniversary celebration. Today, MickeyBloggers spotted a new cheerful backpack at World of Disney with a cast of characters rejoicing in the milestone.
A cast of characters from a variety of Disney properties feature not only in the colorful feature circle but also in silouhettes throughout the bag.
Of course, Mickey and his pals feature prominently in the royal blue bag’s design. With the 50th anniversary logo and Cinderella’s Castle dazzling in festive gold, the crew delights in the grandeur of the occasion.
Following around the inlaid compass deisgn, the Orange Bird, Dumbo, Tinkerbell, Figment, Zazu, and even Kevin, the beloved bird from Pixar’s “Up” allow bold yellows to really pop on the blue background.
The backpack’s durable, woven fabric embraces not only endearing Disney characters but also theme park icons. Spaceship Earth, the Tree of Life, the Tower of Terror, the Millenium Falcon, Space Mountain, and even a bird from the Tiki Room appear throughout the design.
The Walt Disney World logo also appears embroidered in a deep navy blue across the bottom of the backpack.
The exciting new carry-all retails for $29.99, and as previously stated, MickeyBloggers found it today at World of Disney at Disney Springs.
World of Disney continues to be a major retail location for a bulk of 50th anniversary merchandise. The store sits at the heart of Disney Springs and is home to the largest collection of Disney merchandise anywhere in the world. Currently, the store hosts the Celebration Collection and the Disney Castle Collection for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” Beginning November 1st, they will also host the Luxe Logo collection, and later this month, they will also offer the EARidescent Collection.
