You’ve got to see this cake Katherine Sabbath created to celebrate Disney’s 50th Anniversary!
Unless you live on another planet, you know that today is the day we’ve all been waiting for – the start of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration! With crowds forming outside the Magic Kingdom before the sun came up, everyone is eager to be a part of the excitement! Australian baker Katherine Sabbath created her own tribute to Walt Disney with this unbelievable cake to celebrate Disney’s 50th Anniversary!
Sabbath shared the cake in a reel on her Instagram account. She also took to her Instagram stories to give us more insight into the creation of this Masterpiece! This is her original vision, you can see how flawlessly she executed it.
Sabbath’s caption tells us that the cake is layers of vanilla and chocolate sponge cake. It is filled with freeze-dried strawberry and lemon curd with Swiss meringue buttercream. Katherine Sabbath is known for her over the top decorating skills and this 50th Anniversary cake for Disney may “take the cake!” With chocolate tubes, ice cream come turrets and hand made chocolate gems, plus tons and tons of sprinkles, this cake is too beautiful to eat!
