Disney World President Takes To Instagram To Thank Cast Members
If you remember, yesterday MickeyBlog came to you LIVE! from the Magic Kingdom where filming with cast members was going in the HUB area!
Disney World’s new ambassadors were on hand along with Jeff Vahle and George A. Kalogridis to offer a very special “Thank You” to cast members!

Yesterday Vahle, who is the President of Walt Disney World, invited some of the resort’s 65,000 cast members to a dedication ceremony. Now, in between the two Fab 50 Statues features Mickey and Minnie in the HUB, is a new plaque dedicated to the incredible cast members who keep the magic alive each and every day!
We had a chance to take a closer look at this new plaque yesterday which reads:
“Walt Disney World Cast Members have always been the heart of our magic. The statues of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are dedicated to celebrate Cast Members of past, present and future. Thank you for making Walt’s dream a reality. Dedicated this 15th day of September, 2021.”
If you’ll be visiting Disney World in the days or weeks ahead, be sure to stop by the Plaza Gardens in front of Cinderella Castle to take a look at the Mickey and Minnie statues as well as this stunning new dedication.
Vahle also advised that new week, Disney World will celebrate its 50-year Cast with a special party just for them. This will culminate in the distribution of EARidescent nametags.
We agree with Vahle who said that there’s “No better way to celebrate the people who are now, have been and always will be the heart and soul of this place.”
