Contemporary Resort Monorails Get Mid-Century Modern Makeover
The elevator pictures below might look like they could come from Space 220 or Galaxy’s Edge, there actually part of the Contemporary Resort’s massive makeover!
The transformations going on at the resort just now are “INCREDIBLE” literally! The Contemporary is currently in the process of renovating all of the guest rooms in an Incredibles theme.
If you’ve seen either of the Pixar films, you’ll know that Incredibles is big on those Mid-Century Modern vibes.
This ties in perfectly with the retro yet futuristic aesthetic of the Contemporary.
During our visit to this Deluxe Monorail Resort this afternoon, we had the unique opportunity to hop in one of the newly remodeled elevators.
The elevators will now feature silver metallic hues. There’s even a silhouette of the monorail on one side!
We love the feel of the Contemporaries new aesthetic and can’t wait to see more.
