Special Exclusive Offers For Magic Key Members
This week, Disneyland Resort launched its new annual pass program Magic Key which replaces the annual pass.
Disney is calling this “the next evolution” of Disneyland’s beloved pass program. In addition to the flexibility, value and special access that guests will get with the new Magic Key, there’s also an array of extra perks.
Here are a few of the highlights that passholders will want to be on the lookout for:
Magic Key Welcome Pack
Let’s start with the one you may have heard about already! To celebrate 66 magical years at Disneyland Park, anyone signing up for the Magic Key Program within the first 66 days will be what is known as a “charter member.” One of the perks of this distinction is that you will receive a special welcome pack which includes exclusive items like a branded pin, celebration button, magnet and more!
Magic Key Starcade Experience*
For a limited time, Magic Key charter members will get access to a limited time experience known as the “Starcade.” Found in Tomorrowland until October 30, 2021, the Starcade will be open from 12-6 pm. During your visit you can enjoy:
- Special space with phone charging stations
- Fun Magic Key photo opportunities
- Close-up look at Magic Key-themed items available around the Disneyland Resort
- And, occasionally, you may even see a surprise appearance by Mickey or Minnie
Guests should note that proof of Magic Key is required to enter the Starcade.

Magic Key Terrace
Will you be spending your time at Disney California Adventure instead? Don’t worry, Disney has magic keyholders covered with The Magic Key terrace. Here guests can dine, drink and people watch in a special dining lounge created just for Magic Key members. So get ready to indulge in a signature drink or flavorful bite while enjoying the views of Pacific Wharf and beyond!
Oh, and The Magic Key terrace is open via mobile walk-up list via the Disneyland app. The terrace is also taking advance dining reservations also via the Disneyland app.
Magic Key Holder Popcorn Bucket
No visit to Disneyland would be complete without some popcorn. Magic Key holders can pick up a special Disneyland Souvenir Popcorn Bucket. This bucket is exclusive to the program. You’ll be able to pick these up soon at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. The bucket will retail for $11 with refills for $1.50 through November 10, 2021.
An Extra Sprinkling of Magic
In addition to the awesome perks above, key holders can also benefit from the following special perks:
- Toad Photo Opportunity— Enjoy an exclusive complimentary Mr. Toad-themed Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot and digital download, now through October 30, 2021. Check the Magic Key portal on the Disneyland app for details.
- Magic Key embroidery—Special options available for Magic Key holders to purchase at select locations in the parks.
