Celebrate National Relaxation Day at Disney World!
It is National Relaxation Day, and I don’t know about you, but I am ready to celebrate! So, whether looking for a bit of Zen in the middle of the day or simply needing a quiet way to melt away the vacation stress – I am sharing my favorite ways to relax when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!
As magical and exciting as a Walt Disney World vacation can be, it can also be stressful and mildly hectic. Mixing in ways to relax and catch your breath will help make your experience perfect.
Ride the Monorail
Hopping on a monorail and exploring your Disney surroundings is a great way to relax.
The soft lull of this popular Disney Transportation option provides beautiful scenery, a few moments to sit, and the chance to explore different resorts, shops, dining, and other areas of the Walt Disney World resort. And the best part? It is also free!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
This resort is one of my favorite places to visit and relax. The warm ambiance, the lush foliage, and the beautiful Pacific Northwest decor are conducive to a stress-free experience.
Enjoy a craft beer or specialty coffee in the rustic Territory Lounge, or wander through the scenic nature trails and pine forests! Then, relax in front of a soothing fireplace and rock in your cozy rocking chair for the ultimate relaxing experience!
The beautiful Disney resort will have you stress-free in no time!
Disney’s Boardwalk
This quarter-mile promenade has everything! Specialty shops, unique treats, and outside entertainment make it a popular destination. But don’t be deterred – this is actually a wonderful place to people watch and relax.
The Boardwalk is an excellent location for an early morning jog, evening stroll, or grabbing an ice cream and watching the sunset by the dock.
The sounds of jazz music float around you, and the nostalgia will melt away your stressful day.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
Located in the Magic Kingdom, hop on this 10-minute tour of Tomorrowland to experience the mass transit system of the future. Quiet, slow-paced, and rarely ever busy, this is my go-to when I need a break at Magic Kingdom.
The classic attraction provides shade and a breeze. Perfect for those times when you need a few minutes to escape that Florida sun or revel in a few minutes of peace.
Soak up the Sun Poolside
Walt Disney World Resort boasts numerous beautiful pools! These are the perfect place to catch some rays and relax in the warm sun.
Every Disney World resort has multiple pools, so there is no shortage of poolside fun and relaxation, and you have options!
