Fans have been anxiously awaiting new images and story aspects of Marvel’s long promise Spider-Man: No Way Home; with Loki’s season one finale destroying the MCU’s Multiverse, and leaks promising different iterations of Spider-Man in the film, the anticipation is palpable.
Black Widow, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, and The Eternals mark three of the four MCU films set to reach audiences this year; with the third and final Spider-Man film acting as the end of Marvel’s 2021 Film slate.
We have all likely seen Black Widow at this point, with a month left to see Shang-Chi, and three months until The Eternals, fans have gotten. A good dose of information to help them understand what these movies are about.
The same cant be said for Spider-Man No Way Home, however, as fans have had no officially released information regarding the film.
Although there is yet to be an official first trailer for the film, thedirect.com first reported that we do have brand new promotional material that should hold fans over till we can get our first look at the multiversal adventure awaiting during Spider-Man’s final MCU outing.
New Promo Art
The first piece seems to alter what many fans anticipate this film to be about based on what we see at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The new material shows Peter Parker swinging into one of Doctor Strange’s portals, with the Sorceror Supreme closely behind the young hero.
The second image is similar to the last, displaying the same kind of image; showing what seems to be the two protagonists of the film jumping through a portal.
One has to question if the partial signifies the character simply traveling through space- going from one location to another- or traveling through dimensions; moving from within the fractured multiverse.
The next image released is an official Spider-Man: No Way Home promotional image that only displays a portrait of Doctor Strange.
This image seems to solidify that the film will be about the two characters, as opposed to being more prominently a Spider-Man film.
The next image shows a side-by-side face portrait of two of the film’s lead characters; with fans getting a very good look at Spider-Man’s mask and Doctor sTrange’s face.
It appears that, in this image, Spider-Man is sporting the same mask he appeared in Far From Home with; although we know that there will be a few new suits for Peter Parker during this film.
Speaking of new suits; the final image is another portrait showing Strange and Spider-Man, this time showing Peters’s new suit.
The suit was leaked in some of the recent merchandise for the film and appears to follow a “magic meets technology” theme that is starting to arise from the partnership of these two Avengers.
What do you think? who do you feel about these releases as this Spider-Man: No Way Home promo promises plenty of Doctor Strange?
