Adventures By Disney Cancels Southern California Tours For Rest of 2021

Adventures By Disney is notifying customers that they are cancelling all of their Southern California Tours for the remainder of 2021. 

For those unfamiliar, Adventures by Disney offer a 6-night tour that takes guests to Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney Studios and The Jim Henson Company Lot.  

Adventures by Disney has advised that several of the venues visited during the tour are temporarily closed to the public resulting in the decision.

Adventures By Disney is advising that all guests on impacted Southern California tours have the choice of a future travel credit with Adventures By Disney through December 31, 2022 or can get a full refund.  

Those with previously booked package have until August 31, 2021 to reschedule their trip. If Disney doesn’t hear from you they will automatically refund you back to your original form of payment. 

We’ve got a sample of the letter that is being sent out to guests for reference. 

Dear Guest,

All of us at Adventures by Disney hope you are staying well.

We want to let you know that several of the key venues featured on your upcoming Southern California trip are not currently open to visitors. With this in mind, Adventures by Disney has made the decision to suspend Disneyland Resort and Southern California Adventures and Escapes through the end of 2021. This means that your trip has been cancelled.

In light of this cancellation, we are offering you the choice of a future travel credit to be used for an Adventures by Disney trip for travel through December 31, 2022, or a full refund. If you select the future travel credit, your new Adventure must be booked by May 31, 2022.

If you are interested in rescheduling your Adventures by Disney trip or would like to place your reservation on hold until you decide on a future Adventure, please contact your travel agent.

If we do not hear from you by Tuesday, August 31, 2021, your reservation will automatically cancel and a refund will be issued back to the original form of payment. Guests requesting a refund should know that any refunds will be processed in our normal course of business.
