National Geographic Live Announces New Explorer Academy Adventures Series For Kids
We are barely into Summer vacation here at my house and we are already quickly running out of things to keep my kiddos occupied. If you’re having the same issues then don’t worry, National Geographic to the rescue! They have just released a new series of on-demand experiences for our kids called National Geographic Live Explorer Academy Adventures. If they are going to be in front of a screen, might as well make sure it’s educational (and fun too)!

These Explorer Academy Adventures are a special, limited-run series of streaming videos led by real National Geographic Explorers. So cool!
Inside these adventures your kiddos will learn to solve puzzles, break codes, and make discoveries fueled by science and their own curiosity.
And the series topics aren’t boring either! They feature a variety of National Geographic’s most interesting subjects. They include things like amazing ancient civilizations, mysterious sea creatures, outer space and more. Here’s the full list:

- Week 2 – Creepy Crawlies
- Week 3 – Ocean
- Week 4 – Ancient Civilizations

If your family is a fan of the hit National Geographic Kids books Explorer Academy then they will will love these themed weeks being offered. Each week kiddos will be tasked with completing “missions” where they conduct experiments and complete craft activities, and “challenges”. These challenges ask kids to solve puzzles, decode ciphers, and untangle word scrambles.

And what is cooler than an escape room! Throughout the week the kids will uncover clues that will illuminate the answers for that week’s virtual escape room.
