As of tomorrow, mask wearing is no longer required for Walt Disney World resort cast members who are fully vaccinated and working in roles outside.

For cast members working indoors or those who are not fully vaccinated, masking will still be required. Also, cast members indoors must still wear goggles or other protection over the eyes. The goggles took the place of face shields that were previously required as of June 11th.
The policy shifted to more maskless options for guests earlier this week as well. Now, fully vaccinated guests no longer need to wear a mask indoors or outdoors at the Walt Disney World or Disneyland. The only exception to the rule is transporation. Disney guests must still wear masks on all indoor transportation, including the Skyliner, buses and the monorail.
Coronavirus mitigation methods continue to roll back at all of the Disney resorts. Social distancing measures have been virtually eliminated across most of the theme parks.
Plexiglass protection no longer exists on transportation. Buses are loading at much higher capacities, and fireworks make their triumphant return next month in a true sign of things returning to pre-pandemic normalcy.

Also today, Disneyland Paris finally reopened to guests after closing this fall due to the second wave of the pandemic there. The Disneyland resort also welcomed out-of-state guests on Tuesday for the first time since the pandemic forced the park to close in March 2020.
