9 Tips for A Magical Day at Disneyland for Young Adults
Looking for the perfect outing for you and the crew? Why not a fun visit to Disneyland?! If this sounds like the perfect way to bring your magic into your life, I have put together 9 tips to plan the perfect at Disneyland for young adults!
Tip #1: Buy Your Tickets, Make Your Park Reservations in Advance
The number one tip for anyone planning to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park – not just young adults – is to purchase your tickets in advance. And, right after you do so, make sure to make your park reservations as both are required for all Guests ages 2 and older.
Tip #2: Download the App
The next tip that is not just for young adults either is to have the Disneyland App downloaded to your phone. The Disneyland app is where you will look for wait times, park maps, getting in the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance, and mobile ordering. We will touch on the magic of mobile ordering shortly too!
Tip #3: Start Your Day with an Adventure
Upon your arrival to Disneyland Park, start your day out with some adventure with a ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Make sure to hold onto your hats and glasses – along with everything else – as you experience all the dips and twists this iconic attraction as to offer!
After you get your adrenaline going in the “American Southwest,” head over to the choppy waters of the Caribbean on Pirates of the Caribbean. There you will travel through the cool, misty dark caverns and be on the look out because you never now what the scalawags are up to!
Tip #4: Visit a Galaxy Far, Far Away
A visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a must for young adults and Guests of all ages during their Disneyland vacation! A visit to Batuu allows you to be part of the flight crew for the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run or join the Resistance for a battle against the First Order on Rise of the Resistance. (Don’t forget to use the Disneyland App to join the virtual queue!)
While there, make sure you find the answer to that all-important question to: “Blue Milk or Green?”
Tip #5: Skip the Line for Food
That’s right! Did you know that you can skip the line for select quick service and snack locations? All you have to do is have the Disneyland App on your phone and use the ultra-convenient for Mobile Order.
After you work up an appetite from all those thrilling attractions, simply pull up the Disneyland App on your smartphone to look at all the menus available and hit order. Once you arrive at the location you have selected, hit the “I’m here” selection and head over to the designated pick-up window to be eating and drinking in no time!
Tip #6: See Your Favorite Pixar Pals
Any visit to the Disneyland Resort is not complete until you stop by Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park! If you are looking to get your thrill on, a ride on the Incredicoaster is a must! Or, if you are looking for something a little more chill, hop on Jessie’s Critter Carousel. And, a must for kids, young adults, and Guests of all ages is the competitive Toy Story Midway Mania!
Tip #7: Zoom in to Cars Land
Ladies and gentleman: Start your engines and race your friends through Radiator Springs Racers. Be on the lookout for some familiair “grilles” including Mater, Lightning McQueen, and Doc Hudson.
Tip #8: Show off Your Disney Style
Part of a visit to Disneyland is planning those iconic Disney-themed and Disney Bounding outfits! If you are looking for the perfect look, make sure to check out the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney or some of the shops located on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure.
And, not forget to accessoriaze your look with the latest Ears, spirit jerseys, baseball hats, and much more!
Tip #9: Enjoy a Magical Sun Set with The Perfect Meal and Drinks
If you are looking for the perfect way to end a magical day at Disneyland, make sure to check out alfresco dining Carthay Circle Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park. The seasonal menu offers Guests a variety of Mediterranean-California light bites and is perfectly paired with “classic cocktails from the Golden Age of Hollywood” crafted by the best chefs and mixologists!
