Disney Junior Releases Exclusive Clip From New Series, ‘The Chicken Squad’
Disney Junior has released an exclusive song clip from their newest series, The Chicken Squad. Comingsoon.net provided fans a quick listen to The Chicken Squad Song.
Debuting May 14th, the show will feature at least one brand new song every episode. Showcasing a wide array of different musical styles, these songs will all be aimed a the theme or lesson of that particular episode.
The show was inspired by Doreen Cronin’s widely beloved children’s series that follows the carious adventures of three young chicken siblings named Coop, Sweetie, and Little Boo.
The team is led by retired search and rescue dog, Captain Tully, as they work to help the various animals in their backyard, displaying vital lessons for young children to confront in the context of this fun-filled fantasy adventure series.
The exclusive clip released, showing the newest song from The Chicken Squad, shows the team is always quick to bring help to those in need, and through their good actions, become necessary members of their communities.
These themes, presented often in the package of a catchy and unique song in that episode, are timeless and form the foundation of what makes Disney Junior such an essential format for the development of young viewers.
Not only does the series share essential lessons, wonderful adventures, and great visual animation stylings; there is also a world-class team of talented creators behind the series.
Veteran actor Yvette Nicole Brown brings her signature energy and enthusiasm to the role of Captain Tully; with Ramone Hamilton, Gabriella Graves, and Maxwell Simkins playing the roles of Coop, Sweetie, and Little Boo respectively.
With widely recognized actors such as Jane Lynch, Rachel Bloom, and Chrissie Fit serving as special guests for different roles in season one, episodes seem to be brimming with talented performers.
Developed by Elena of Avalor showrunner and Emmy Award Winner Tom Rogers, names like Rachel Ruderman, Tony Trujillo, Elliot M. Bour, and Scott Berns all bring a vast amount of experience from working on series like Puppy Dog Pals, Elena of Avalor, and Sofia The First.
Emmy Winner and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse veteran Mike Himelstein and Grammy Winner Alex Geringas of Voltron will serve as the series songwriters.
They are joined by Gregory James Jenkins, or T.O.T.S fame, who is serving as the composer for the series.
The soundtrack from Walt Disney Records will be available on May 14th; the same day as the series is set to air on Disney Junior.
