BREAKING: New Star Wars “Been There” Starbucks Mugs From a Galaxy Far Far Away!
It’s May Fourth, otherwise known as Star Wars Day, and Disney just keeps us giving more to celebrate! In addition to other great Star Wars merchandise, you’ve got to see these brand new Star Wars “Been There” Starbucks Mugs! The three new destinations include Tatooine, Endor and Batuu!
You may be familiar with the Starbucks “Been There” series as it applies to real destinations Worldwide. These mugs have long been popular with collectors who pick them up from Starbucks in their favorite cities. Of course, it was not long before Disney jumped on this bandwagon and released mugs for each of the theme parks.
Last year, Disney and Starbucks released the first “been there” mugs in a new series featuring locations in the fictional Star Wars universe. Hoth, Dagobah and Bespin were the first destinations to be represented.
All New “Been There” Star Wars Destinations!
The first new destination released today is Tatooine. Star Wars fans know this as the desert planet located in the Outer Rim. It is the home of Anakin and Luke Skywalker and a major backdrop for some of the most important events in the Star Wars story. This mug features the same line drawing style as other “Been There” mugs with a brown and orange color scheme.
The second mug features Endor, the forest planet home to Ewoks and other species. In fact, an Ewok is featured front and center in the artwork! The dark green and brown color palate are the perfect representation of Endor.
All New Batuu Starbucks Mug!
Our favorite new mug in the Star Wars “Been There” Starbucks mug series has to be this one featuring a real life place – Batuu! While Batuu does not appear in any of the Star Wars movies, it is the fictional planet of Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge. This mug features many of your favorite star wars icons – Chewbacca, Rey and the Millennium Falcon – among many others!
