As you can see from the tweet above, there is an approaching cold front and energy building over the Gulf of Mexico. This is bringing the risk of strong to severe storms to the area with the majority of activity expected to take place today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday.)
For those visiting the theme parks this week, be prepared if planning a day out over the next two days. We here at MickeyBlog recommend that you pack a theme park bag with ponchos, a change of clothes, dry socks and anything else you may need to stay comfortable. Also be prepared for certain rides and attractions to shut down in the event of electrical storms in the area.
The weather is expected to break on Wednesday with Thursday and Friday holding the promise of sunnier skies.
Temperatures will reach the 70s and 80s. As we look ahead to the beginning of the week, we can expert more storms and soggy weather into Tuesday. https://t.co/NeYaoYsK7Q
