Stitch Crashes Into Disney Springs this Week!
We showed you a sneak peek at the new Stitch Crashes the Lion King collection back in February and most of it sold out fast on shopDisney. But now it’s here in person! The new series launches in stores this week, April 19, at World of Disney in Disney Springs!
This is the third release in the Stitch Crashes Disney Collection, inspired by the original Lilo & Stitch film trailers from 2002 featuring Stitch crashing classic Disney film scenes. Each month a new plush, pin and MagicBand are released as Stitch “crashes” a new iconic film!
This time, Stitch Crashes the Lion King, bringing us a bright collection full of the gold, red and green tones that conjure images of the classic Lion King movie from 1994.

This new series plush gives us a golden yellow and green Stitch with red eyes and nose. If you look closely at the gold fabric on Stitch’s body you’ll see the classic marching silhouettes of Timon, Pumba and Simba! The green leafy fabric on Stitch’s belly, mouth and ears is an obvious reference to the tropical setting of Lilo and Stitch as well as the lush jungle setting in the Lion King. There’s even a playful addition of a red and purple grub perched on our buddy’s head!

Pin trading Stitch collectors will find a unique one here! This month’s Stitch pin features the same yellow, green and red Stitch characterization as the plush, even with the red and purple grubs! But this guy is a little more animated as here Stitch is making his signature crazy open mouthed grin. How can you not love the little guy and his toothy smile?
The back of the metal pin bears the Disney Pin Trading 2021 stamp. The pin can make its way to your lanyard for $24.99 and is still available on shopDisney now!
MagicBand
The new Stitch Crashes Disney MagicBand might be my favorite of this new release!

The new brightly colored band highlights the green tropical print and will make a beautiful stand out piece on any Guest’s arm! A sassy, arm-crossed Stitch sits among the lush green leaves with his grub friends on one side of the band while the other gives us a tiny feature of the two little grubs themselves.
