Shouting to Be Limited On Rides at Disneyland Upon Reopening
With Disneyland reopening soon, safety and health guidelines are starting to come out of procedures and rules. One of those rules says to limit shouting on rides.
The California Attractions and Parks Association (CAPA) website goes over the new limitations.
The photo above states that guests should limit activities that are known to cause the increased spread of the Coronavirus, such as singing, shouting, heavy breathing. Face covering usage and/or modifications to seat loading patterns will be required on rides to mitigate the effects of shouting. Guests generally face in one direction on rides.
Tokyo Disneyland has already advised guests not to scream or shout on rides due to the possible spreading of the virus. Nothing has come out of Disney World about this.
Since the state of California has now given 2 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to residents, thirteen counties in the state, including Los Angeles and Orange counties, can move from the most restrictive purple tier to the red tier in the state’s coded reopening system. That includes Disneyland!
The move to the red tier also allows for each county to permit restaurants to open to indoor dining at 25% capacity or a max of 100 people, whichever is fewer. Other safety precautions such as distancing, ventilation, and masks will also be in effect. Meanwhile, outdoor dining can accommodate up to six people per table from three different households. This is wonderful news for restaurants in Disneyland Park, California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney!

Very clearly states that CAPA guidance is just that – guidance. These aren’t Disney rules. Bad writing like this keeps guests away. Do better
