Disneyland Paris Announces That They Will NOT Open April 2nd
Though the news doesn’t come as a huge surprise, Disneyland Paris released an official statement this morning announcing that Disney’s European theme parks will remain closed for the time being due to the pandemic. The notification was posted across social media.
Here’s a look at the official Instagram post below:

The statement which appears in both French and English on the post states that due to prevailing conditions and travel restrictions across Europe, Disneyland Paris WILL NOT reopen on April 2nd as initially thought.
Disney did not announce a reopening date yet simply saying “We are optimistic that we will be able to reopen soon” and that they will share updates when possible.
For those following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that Disney reopened in July of 2020 only to have to close again in October due to an increase in COVID-19 cases across Europe. The theme park was schedule to reopen during the holidays but was postponed until February of this year. The date was then pushed back again in January with the announcement that it would reopen in April.
This is a story that we’ll continue to follow closely here at MickeyBlog and we promise to let you know as soon as we know more.
