Disney+
Be on the lookout for Disney+’s “Celebrate Women’s History Month” collection on the streaming services homepage.
Among the gems is Disney’s Mulan, a tale of China’s legendary warrior in which a fearless young woman risks everything out of love for her family and her country to become one of the greatest warriors China has ever known.
Jane Godall: The Hope is another fantastic options and explores Dr. Goodall’s passion for wildlife and conservation.
ICYMI: Marvel Studios’ WandaVision blends classic television with the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff and Vision, two superpowered beings living idealized suburban lives suspect that everything may not be as it seems.
Black is King is a stunning visual album by 24-time Grammy Award-winner Beyonce based on the music from The Lion King: The Gift which reimagines the lessons from the beloved animated film for today’s young kings and queens!

ESPN+
All month long ESPN+ will be highlighting the achievements of female athletes with a collection of award-winning films and documentaries.
ESPN Films: Nine for IX, celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Title IX (the amendment passed to ensure gender equality in college sports.) The sires features episodes including: The ’99ers, Coach, Pat XO, Venus VS and No Limits, all stories which spotlight female excellence in sports.
In 30 for 30, ESPN focuses on female stories including “Qualified,” “Unmatched,” “Marion Jones Press Pause” and “Home Court: Jasmine Walker’s Story,” which document the historic careers of Indy 500 racer Janet Guthrie, tennis player and coach Martina Navratilova and so many other female greats.
Why We Fight: Season 2 is a documentary series that explores the personal stories about what drives world-class athletes to pursue combat sports. The show is produced by former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
Also be on the lookout for Alex Morgan: The Equalizer which is a four part series about the U.S. soccer star.
The Undefeated on ESPN+ will also be adding to its library with the NEW “Black Queens Collection.” Other ESPN series’ featuring iconic female stories include 30 for 30 Shorts and Basketball: A Love Story.
Hulu
Next its over to Hulu and a couple of recent award-winners! Nomadland was recently recognized for several awards including Best Picture at the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards. Directed by award-winning director Chloé Zhao, Nomadland tells the story of a woman who embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad, after losing everything in the Great Recession.
The United States vs. Billie Holiday features award-winning actress Andra Day and takes a look at the legendary jazz musician who was targeted by the federal government in a growing effort to racialize the war on drug by trying to force Holiday to stop singing “Strange Fruit.”

ABC News
This 8-part series presents an original portrait of “Lady Bird” Johnson and is drawn from more than 123 hours of the first lady’s daily audio diaries. It provides some stunning revelations about Lyndon B. Johnson’s presidency and paints a picture of Lady Bird as his closest advisor and political partner.
ABC Owned Television Stations
Check out Our America: Women Forward, this 5-part docuseries celebrations women. A one hour documentary will air on March 12th and will be available on all of the owned stations’ streaming apps.
ESPN
ESPN will premiere sport-centric content throughout March that celebrates female athletes. Kicking this off will be SportsCenter presents: espnW- History in the Making which airs on March 16th. Hosted by Lisa Salters and Jeremy Schaap, the show features a vast and diverside line-up of stories that highlight the voices, achievements and contributions of contemporary sports figures including Sarah Thomas, Serena Williams, the WNBA, Claressa Shields; and Sarah Fuller.
SC Featured, the award-winning storytelling brand of SportsCenter, will highlight Rachel Luba, Major League Baseball (MLB)’s youngest certified agent, who represents Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer, on Sunday, March 7. ESPN’s Jessica Mendoza, who in 2015 became the first woman to serve as an analyst for nationally televised MLB games and in 2020 became the first woman to serve as a national radio World Series game analyst when she joined the MLB on ESPN Radio team, interviews Luba for the feature, which will debut in the 8 a.m. ET edition of SportsCenter on ESPN. Mendoza will also call two MLB Spring Training games during the first week of March.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC
National Geographic is presenting the first ever definitive story about the Queen of Soul in Genius: Aretha. The third season of the Emmy Award-winning anthology series looks at Aretha Franklin explore her musical genius and incredible career.

The series will premiere on the National Geographic channel with two episodes starting Sunday, March 21st at 9/8. The episodes will be available the next day on Hulu culminating with a celebration on Franklin’s birthday (March 25th.) The series was a 20th Television and Imagine Television production with Brian Grazer and Ron Howard serving as executive producers along side Pulitzer-Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks who serves as executive producer and showrunner.
Head to rural Hartington, Nebraska for Heartland Docs, DVM which follows Drs.
