Sneak Peek Of Almost Finished Pylons at EPCOT

Zach Riddley, the Portfolio Executive at Walt Disney World has taken to his Instagram to give us a sneak peek at the final touches to EPCOT’S entrance plaza. It’s going to be an amazing transformation and I can’t wait to see the final product!

Inspiration for this project has come from the original geometry of the park’s design. The Pylons have been erected for a couple of months now and you can actually catch a glimpse of them over the construction walls.

This is part of Disney World’s magical makeover of the central fountain area at EPCOT which has been welcoming guests to this Walt Disney World theme park since 1982.

According to Riddley, the Imagineers looked back to the original geometry of the park’s design for inspiration while adding in new features to make a bridge between the past and the future of EPCOT. We can honestly say that it’s nothing short of stunning.

Once finished, Epcot’s entrance plaza will be transformed with new experiences that connect us with the world, welcoming you with a reimagined fountain, new pathways and sweeping green spaces that beautify the entryway. From the images above it would appear that they aren’t far from being finished!
