Brightline High Speed Rail Coming To Disney Springs
We’ve got some exciting updates regarding the high speed rail network that is planned for Orlando. Brightline, the company responsible for the project (after Virgin pulled out last year) has announced that they are currently working on an agreement that could see a station stop at Disney Springs.
This would offer an alternate mode of transportation for those looking to get between Walt Disney World and Orlando International Airport as well as revolutionize the way visitors get from the South of Florida to the theme parks.
As you can see from the image above shared by the company earlier this year, the route will connect Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach to central Florida. Stations will also be in located in Aventura, Boca Raton and Port Miami according to a recent piece on WESH.
The route from West Palm-Beach to Orlando International Airport is slated to be completed in 2022.

Brightline is still trying to work out the details with Disney and the entire project is dependant on government approval so it is early days.
