Annual Passholders Receive Email of New Park Hopper Change
With the exciting news of Park Hopping returning to Disney World in 2021, Annual Passholders have begun receiving an email making them aware of this change.
The email reads:
Dear Valued Annual Passholder,
As the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort® continues, we are nearing another exciting milestone we know many Guests have been looking forward to the return of the Park Hopper® option! Starting Jan. 1, 2021, Guests who purchased a ticket or annual pass with Park Hopper benefits will be able to visit more than one park per day, with some new modifications as part of our ongoing focus on health and safety.

This is great news for Passholders as one of the biggest complaints about owning an annual pass right now is that they couldn’t take advantage of park hopping which is one of the major perks of a pass.

Starting on January 1, 2021 guests who purchased a ticket package or annual pass with Park Hopper benefits will be able to once again visit more than one park per day. Due to social distancing requirements and Disney World’s commitment to health and safety, there are some changes to be aware of.
Under Disney’s Park Pass reservation system, guests must STILL make a park pass reservation for the first park you plan to visit AND you MUST visit that park before you visit another.
In addition, Disney World has set up specific Park Hopper hours. They start at 2pm each day and end at the theme parks closing time. Guests will be able to visit DisneyWorld.com/ParkHours and the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper® hours, as they could start earlier at a later date, depending on the day and park.

The graphic above gives an awesome infographic that walks you through the process of using the NEW Park Hopper. Disney World also announced that Park-to-park transportation will be resuming in 2021. Buses will start running just prior to Park Hopper hours, which again are slated to start at 2pm.
