Construction Update: TRON Coaster Takes Shape at Magic Kingdom
Another week means more incredible images of how construction is progressing on the TRON Coaster over at Magic Kingdom thanks to our MickeyBlogger who is on the scene today.
Let’s take a look:
Once again, we are astonished at how fast the canopies are being put in place for this ride.
From the Barnstormer line in Storybook Circus, we were able to photograph towering crane that’s in place to move the giant canopy beams.
Last week when we shared images with you, the canopy beams were starting to soar in the sky providing visitors with an idea of the sheer size and scale of this incredible Tomorrowland attraction.
And now we’re delighted to see them extending pass the coaster track.
No matter how many times we see construction photos we are STILL blown away by the size and scale of this new Tomorrowland coaster.
And with the canopy towering over the track we’re sure it’s about to become even more magnificent. Look how high its getting!
TRON Lightcycle / Run is set to open at Magic Kingdom Park in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021
Once completed, the attraction which promises to whisk you into cyberspace just like the films of the same name!
The indoor coaster will allow riders to board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles for a thrilling race through the digital frontier
Here at MickeyBlog, we visit the parks each and every week and promise to keep you update as construction progresses!
