Mayor Jerry Demings spoke on the new measures saying that so far over 3,600 businesses in the county have been visited. He said that the teams are working to ensure that local businesses are being compliant with the guidelines put forth by the CDC.
Though small businesses have been the primary focus Demings added, “In addition to smaller businesses, the strike teams will be once again visiting major theme parks unannounced very soon.”
Demings announced that the teams have been inspecting Orange County businesses over the course of the past two months with 450 follow-up inspections also being conducted.
