Brawl Breaks Out at Disneyland Area Hotel
Cambria Hotel & Suites a relatively new resort property in the Anaheim area was the setting for was is being described as a massive brawl at the resort. According to LAMag, the fight which happened this afternoon involved anywhere from 60 – 100 participants according to authorities.

According to the reports, two individuals were arrested and several people are being treated for minor injuries. Two people are reportedly suffering from stab wounds. All of those involved are believe to have been guests at the hotel. Witnesses on the scene report that the event escalated after a poolside confrontation broke out when an 11 year old pushed his cousin in a playful way. The cousin reportedly fell into a group of nearby kids accidentally and then things quickly kicked off.
Raymond Brown, one of those involved in the skirmish told news network KTLA that it was this incident that prompted the fighting to start. From there things escalated quickly and by the time that police arrived the brawl had even moved into the hotel lobby area.
Officers were called to the hotel at 12:40pm PST. Sgt. Shane Carringer told the Orange County Register that when the officers arrived they were met with about 40 people fighting outside. He added that inside there was an additional group of about 50 or 60 guests. Carringer added, “It was men and women, adults, and juveniles.” The office continued, “It sounds like people had broomsticks and whatever objects they could find in the hotel.”

Sgt. Carringer told the OC Register that the hotel was on lockdown while officers continued to sweep the building to see if there are others in need of medical help.
