Fireworks Have Returned to a Disney Park!
Shanghai Disneyland has been super excited to welcome back Guests and Cast Members since their reopening on June 16th. The phased reopening process has gone smoothly with Guests providing overwhelmingly positive feedback on the new health and safety measures that have been introduced.

Along with the phased re-opening, Shanghai Disney has had more entertainment options to enjoy in the Park. Several theater shows, including “Eye of the Storm: Captain Jack’s Stunt Spectacular” and “Frozen: A Sing-Along Celebration” have reopened. In addition, a colorful new seasonal show has opened called, “Disney Color-Fest!”
Old favorites are still around for Guests to delight in as well! While Mickey, Minnie, and Pals are greeting Guests in new ways, they are still on hand to bring a smile to the faces of young and old alike. The iconic TRON attraction is also open and you will see Guests Disney Bounding everywhere you look!

Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light fireworks shows is back on the website with available showtimes.

Will other Disney parks around the world follow suit? Disney World released a statement about additional entertainment options in the parks:
“As we reopen our theme parks, we would like to include live stage shows. We have heard from many cast members that they are eager to return; however, the Actors’ Equity Association has not agreed to the terms of the recall impacting our ability to invite these cast members back at this time. The health and well-being of our cast members and guests is an important priority for us, and our theme park reopening plan has been approved by county and state officials.”
