Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation has ordered the suspension of all on-premises alcohol consumption in bars statewide. This is in hopes to curb the recent spike of COVID-19 across the state.

The order is for standalone bars only, not restaurants that serve alcohol.
This announcement is made on the heels of the 8,942 positive cases of COVID-19 that was reported Thursday, June 25. “Based on 8500+ new cases and this recent spike, DBPR felt it was prudent to close the bars to arrest this surge in cases,” Secretary Beshears told WCTV.
We aren’t sure how this will affect the opening of EPCOT with the Food and Wine Festival operating. Will the kiosks selling beer and wine in the World Showcase be closed? We are surious about this development.
What does this mean for the bars at Disney Springs? They will probably be ceasing all sales of alcohol by the end of the day.
We will keep you updated on this developing story.
