Let’s Take a Tour of Aulani With Guest Services Manager Pua
Last night we here at MickeyBlog shared a virtual tour of both Disney World and Disneyland Resorts compliments of members of Disney’s incredible security team. This morning we’re continuing the theme with a big “Mahalo!” to Pua the Guest Services Manager at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii is taking us on a tour of this tropical island paradise!
Let’s take a look:
Aloha! 🌈 I’m Pua, Guest Service Manager at Aulani. The @Disneyland & @WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyCastLife pics inspired me to give you a peek at how we’re doing in Hawaii. We have the “kuleana” – responsibility – of caring for Aulani while it’s temporarily closed. Follow along! -Pua pic.twitter.com/ouBNEfizuM

Pua’s tour starts with a beautiful picture in front of Aulani. Even though there are no guests there at present, the sun is still shining!
“Waikolohe” means mischievous water. 🌊Yuuki from Recreation is making sure that the Waikolohe Stream is behaving. Mahalo, Yuuki! -Pua #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/VtAnCszVf7

Here she is with a member of staff looking after one of Aulani’s many swimming areas! There are so many that trying to squeeze in a visit to all of them during your stay is a chore.
Menehune also like to create mischief. And they are hiding EVERYWHERE around the resort. So we’re keeping an eye on them, too. -Pua #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/187cLR1qPJ

The entire resort is pepper with mischievous menehune. There’s even a scavenger hunt where you uncover many of these little fellas around the resort grounds! Here’s a perfect example of one.

The Porte Cochere is where we normally say “a hui hou” – until we meet again, 🤙🏼so I’m ending our tour here. From my Disney ‘ohana to yours, mahalo for joining us today. We can’t wait to welcome you back to Aulani! -Pua #DisneyCastLife pic.twitter.com/7qF1nNUqSb

We absolutely love this photo of all of the Disney Cast Members. Its an important reminder that while the theme parks and resorts remain shuttered there is a magical Disney crew hard at work making sure that everything is practically perfect to welcome us back.
Aulani has yet to announce an opening date. However, this is a story that we’ll be following closely and we promise to keep you posted as soon as we know. Keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest Disney news and updates.
