Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have joined the growing list of celebrities who are chipping in to combat the coronavirus pandemic. Reynolds took to Twitter on Monday to announce that he and his wife are donating $1 million to food banks in North America.
“Covid-19 has brutally impacted older adults and low income families,” the “Deadpool” actor wrote. “Blake and I are donating $1 million to be split between FEEDING AMERICA and FOOD BANKS CANADA.”
“If you can give, these orgs need our help,” he continued.
And, in case you missed it, Ryan and Hugh Jackman (who plays Wolverine in the X-Men series) have a bit of a rivalry.
