Delicious Mardi Gras and Carnevale Dining at Disney Springs
Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler! It’s time to let the good times roll as Mardi Gras and Carnevale is back at Disney Springs. And you know it wouldn’t be a party without some delicious treats to indulge on. Whether you are craving the flavors from the streets of New Orleans of the delicacies of Venice, there is something for everyone!
Maria and Enzo’s has announced the return of Carnevale where every night the restaurant transforms into a festival atmosphere filled with live entertainment including musicians, balloon artists, and mask painters. This special event happens from 5-10 pm each night and lasts through February 29th. The famous Carnevale menu returns jam-packed with delicious Sicilian delicacies like antipasti, salads, soups, pasta, entrees and more. Make sure to ask your server about limited time drink specials and your own unique mask to wear during the event! Reservations are recommended and can be made online or by calling (407) 560-8466.
If you’re in the mood for some soulful New Orleans-style food and music then head over to House of Blues Restaurant and Bar over on the west side of Disney Springs. This weekend kicks off their Fat Saturdays Celebration happening on February 15 and 22. Hungry guests can join in on the party in the courtyard from 5 pm – 9 pm with food and drink specials plus live music from the Brown Bag Brass Brand. Returning favorites on the menu include Bread Bowl Gumbo, Jambalaya and their famous Bread Pudding at the Smokehouse just outside. And one can’t forget the Shrimp & Crawfish Etouffee found inside the restaurant!
Ready for the sweet life? Make sure to swing by Sprinkles Cupcakes for the new Bananas Foster Cupcake. It’s packed with caramelized banana-infused rum sauce and topped with vanilla buttercream frosting with Mardi Gras themed sprinkles. This delicious treat is available from February 17 through March 1.
Not enough? Then pop over to Vivoli il Gelato for the ultimate royal “treat”ment. It’s called the King Shake and it’s an over-the-top shake made with cake gelato spun with milk, a waffle cone, a cinnamon roll, and topped with whipped cream.
