Watch As Helper Dog Nala Meets Her Favorite Fashion Icon – Minnie at Walt Disney World

Back in December, we shared some awesome images of one mighty impressive service dog named Nala meeting Donald Duck at the Mexican Pavilion. To say the interaction warmed our hearts would be an understatement! 

You’ll be pleased to know that since then, Nala who is an Autism and PTSD trained Golden Retriever continues to be a fixture at the theme parks where one of her favorite activities is going character spotting!  We couldn’t resist the opportunity to share with you Nala’s reaction to meeting the always stylish Minnie Mouse during a  visit last month!

We love that not only did Nala do a great big friendly belly flop when meeting Minnie but that she also came prepared with her very own pair of mouse ears.

Another thing we love about following Nala’s adventures is that they also bring attention to the importance of service dogs! Nala is trained to do crowd control and is always working to keep a bit of space around her owner Megan and to stop people from standing too close. As Megan said in a recent Instagram post, Nala has an amazing ability to know when something is off.  She will notice that her owner is unwell before her owner recognizes symptoms and will warn her with a nose-bump to the hand or leg.
