Star Wars: Move Over Baby Yoda? Here Comes Baby Jabba!
Well, not really. But it’s nice to imagine. And when fan-made fun comes along, why not enjoy?
The Child Has Competition?
Since Baby Yoda’s appearance on Disney+’s The Mandalorian the memes have been coming in thick and fast over the adorable creation – but now sci-fi fans can’t contain their excitement because slug-like alien Jabba has been added to the collection.
Leonardo Viti – an artist who specializes in 3D character development and has over 11k followers on Instagram – is the person behind the new creation… Leo shared the cutie on Instagram and captioned the post: “The little Jabba is really happy for all the love he received here is a short turntable video.”
The post shows how cute the younger version of the galaxy’s most powerful gangster is with a 360-degree view of him sticking his tongue out – and Leo has even the added a small amount of slobber to make it extra realistic.

It’s called a Huttlet
Um, actually, a baby Hutt is actually called a Huttlet [pushes up glasses].
BTW: Because a fan posted it, Baby Jabba is virtually guaranteed…. not to become Star Wars canon.
However, fans of Lucasfilm’s animated Clone Wars series will remember Jabba’s baby son Rotta (a.k.a. the McGuffin of the much-maligned, but actually underrated Clone Wars Animated Film, pictured above and featured below).
Rotta is decidedly not-as-cute at the “new” baby hutt.
